Twohands Terms of Use
1 Our agreement with you
These Terms of Use govern the Twohands website at usetwohands.com and its related discovery, profile, project-posting and messaging features (the Platform). Use Two Hands, Inc., doing business as Twohands (Twohands, we, us or our), provides the Platform. You means the individual accepting these Terms and any business that individual is authorized to represent. A Homeowner is a user seeking services for residential property, including an authorized property representative. A Pro is a user offering professional services through an independently operated business. Both are Users. Professional services offered or performed by a Pro are Pro Services.
By affirmatively accepting these Terms during registration or another acceptance process, you enter into an agreement with Twohands. The Pro Listing and Disclosure Policy and the Acceptable Use and Reviews Policy are incorporated into these Terms. Pros must comply with both these Terms and the additional Pro requirements. The Privacy Policy separately explains our handling of personal information. The Hiring and Safety Guide provides educational guidance and is not a service contract or a guarantee.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account features. If you accept on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. Your acceptance does not make you a personal guarantor of the business's contractual obligations, but it does not excuse your own unlawful conduct or misrepresentations.
2 Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. The launch version supports residential projects in New York State. Pros must have authority to offer their listed services in the locations they serve. Access to a listing does not establish that a Pro may lawfully perform a particular project.
Provide accurate registration information, keep it current, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access at support@usetwohands.com. Do not impersonate another person or business, transfer your account without our written permission, or create replacement accounts to evade a restriction. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for reasonable security of your account. This provision does not make you liable for every unauthorized act regardless of fault or excuse Twohands' own legal obligations.
Business account holders must authorize and supervise account access by their staff. Do not share login credentials where the Platform provides separate authorized access. We may request information reasonably needed to confirm account authority or investigate misuse; such a request does not certify a Pro's qualifications.
3 The limited role of Twohands
Twohands supplies technology that allows Users to discover independent Pros, publish information and communicate. Twohands does not undertake, offer to undertake, sell or perform Pro Services. It does not employ Pros to perform those services, assign their work, set their service prices, or control their methods, tools, personnel, work hours or jobsite practices.
Twohands is not the homeowner's or Pro's agent, contractor, construction manager, employer, insurer, surety or guarantor. Pros are independently operated businesses and are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of Twohands. No User has authority to bind Twohands or make promises on its behalf. These descriptions concern the Platform's actual role and do not displace any classification or duty imposed by applicable law.
Searching, posting a project, saving a profile, expressing interest or sending a message does not cause Twohands to hire a Pro, award a project or enter into a service contract. Twohands does not provide project contracting or electronic project-signing tools in this launch version. Users may make agreements directly, including through their communications. Twohands is not a party to those agreements, and these Terms do not determine whether a particular exchange between Users forms a binding agreement.
Users independently decide whether to communicate, meet, hire or provide services. Any scope, estimate, price, schedule, materials, personnel, contract, change order, cancellation, payment, refund, warranty or other project arrangement must be addressed directly between the relevant Users. An estimate or statement sent by a Pro is that Pro's representation, not Twohands' representation.
4 No project payments or protection program
The launch Platform does not collect, hold, process, transmit or distribute payments for Pro Services; store project payment cards; provide escrow; invoice for Pro Services; or administer deposits, refunds or chargebacks. Any payment arrangement is made directly between the Homeowner and Pro outside Twohands' payment systems. Twohands does not authorize either side to disregard payment, trust-fund, cancellation or refund requirements imposed by law or their own agreement.
Twohands does not offer a workmanship warranty, satisfaction guarantee, insurance coverage, reimbursement fund, payment protection or a promise to complete or repair work. Neither account creation nor contact through the Platform activates any such protection. A Pro's own insurance, bond or warranty, if any, is separate and must be assessed directly with that Pro and the relevant issuer.
There is no Twohands fee to join, create a profile, discover or communicate in this launch version. Pro Services are separate and may have charges agreed directly with a Pro. We will not impose a new Platform charge without first disclosing its terms and obtaining any legally required agreement. These Terms do not authorize an undisclosed future charge.
5 Listings credentials and reviews
Profiles, portfolio images, credentials, availability, service descriptions, prices, reviews and other User submissions are supplied by their respective authors. Twohands does not independently verify or guarantee Pro identity, licensing, insurance, bonding, training, experience, background, qualifications, portfolio ownership, review authenticity, availability, safety, suitability or work quality. Twohands does not conduct background checks as part of this launch offering.
A Pro must give truthful information and meet the requirements applicable to their work. A license number, insurance statement, uploaded document, listing, search placement or profile publication is not verification, certification, endorsement or a recommendation by Twohands. It does not establish that a credential is current, applies to the project, or covers a particular worker or loss. A representation made by a Pro remains that Pro's responsibility even when displayed through the Platform.
Homeowners should independently check relevant licenses, insurance, references and suitability before hiring. Reviewers are responsible for their submissions. Twohands does not guarantee the truth of each submission, and it may moderate content under its policies. Nothing in this section permits Twohands or a User to publish deceptive claims, manufacture reviews or ignore obligations imposed by law.
Search and filtering tools help Users navigate listings and do not substitute for due diligence. Listing order can change, and neither Pros nor Homeowners are promised particular visibility, inquiries, responses, jobs or results. Any paid placement, if later introduced, must be identified as such and governed by disclosed terms.
6 Homeowner responsibilities
Homeowners must provide materially accurate project information, have authority to request the services and authorize property access, and communicate known relevant hazards before a visit or work begins. Do not request illegal, unsafe or unlicensed work, misrepresent ownership or authority, or use the Platform to harass a Pro or obtain services by fraud.
Before work, independently select the Pro, confirm that required licensing and insurance apply, and agree directly on scope, price, timing, access, materials and responsibility for permits. Obtain any written contract, notices, disclosures and cancellation rights required by law. A project post or message thread is not a substitute for a legally compliant home-improvement contract.
Observe your direct agreements and applicable law, including lawful payment obligations. These responsibilities do not make a Homeowner responsible for a Pro's workmanship, regulatory violations or failure to carry required coverage, or waive remedies against that Pro.
7 Additional Pro responsibilities
You represent that you operate an independent business and have authority to offer each service listed. Maintain all licenses, registrations, certifications, bonds, insurance and other qualifications required for the particular work and jurisdiction. Do not solicit, accept or perform work you cannot lawfully perform. A trade category on Twohands is not permission to practice a regulated trade.
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of your business name, license details, insurance statements, rates, experience, images, references and other representations. Promptly update or remove outdated claims and suspend offers of services affected by an expired, suspended, revoked or otherwise inadequate credential. Do not present a document upload or listing as Twohands verification.
You independently control service prices, methods, personnel and operations. You are responsible for your employees, helpers, subcontractors and anyone else you engage, including applicable employment obligations, worker classification, payroll, workers' compensation, licensing, insurance, safety and permits. Disclose additional personnel and obtain any authorization required by law or your agreement. Do not substitute another business or bring undisclosed personnel contrary to your agreement with the Homeowner.
Provide legally required written contracts, insurance disclosures, cancellation notices and other documents directly to the Homeowner. Comply with applicable home-improvement, consumer-protection, building, environmental, tax and payment laws. For covered New York home-improvement contracts, comply with General Business Law Article 36-A and applicable local requirements, including required written terms, signatures and notices. You must comply with legally applicable cancellation and deposit rules even though Twohands does not administer them.
Perform agreed services lawfully and in a professional and workmanlike manner; address defects and warranties as required by your agreement and law. These obligations are owed in connection with your own business and do not make Twohands a supervisor of your work. Nothing creates a Pro employment relationship with Twohands or removes rights that applicable law requires.
Use information obtained through Twohands only for the relevant inquiry or another purpose separately authorized by the person and permitted by law. Do not sell leads, build unrelated marketing lists, pressure Users to communicate outside their preferences, or imply that Twohands authorized your outreach.
8 Platform access and intellectual property
Subject to these Terms, Twohands grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended discovery and communication purposes. Twohands and its licensors retain their rights in the Platform's software, design, branding and other materials, excluding content owned by Users or other rights holders.
Do not copy or resell the Platform, scrape personal information, circumvent access controls, interfere with its operation, introduce malware, or reverse engineer it except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by law. Do not use Twohands' name, marks or logos in a way that suggests endorsement, employment, insurance or a partnership. Link to your truthful Twohands profile without misrepresenting our relationship.
9 Your content and permissions
User Content means information you submit through the Platform, including profiles, project posts, images, messages, reviews and attachments. You retain ownership of your User Content. You represent that you have the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed to submit it and authorize its intended use, including any permissions for images of homes, people, client work or third-party intellectual property.
You grant Twohands a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display and technically format your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the Platform and enforce its policies, subject to the Privacy Policy and the audience applicable to the content. Twohands may allow its service providers to exercise these rights only for those purposes. Technical formatting does not authorize changing the substantive meaning of a review or representation.
Public content may be displayed to the audience identified in the Platform. Private messages and nonpublic attachments are not licensed for public advertising or unrelated promotion. A separate permission is required to use private content or a person's identity in marketing outside the intended Platform display. You do not transfer copyright ownership in a review or surrender your right to publish honest opinions elsewhere.
After content removal or account closure, the license continues only for copies reasonably retained for backups, legal compliance, security, dispute records or content remaining legitimately accessible to its recipients, consistent with the Privacy Policy. Removal cannot recall material already received or copied by other Users. Any feedback you voluntarily give about Platform features may be used to improve them without compensation; this does not permit use of confidential material outside the purposes described here.
10 Communications and outside services
The Platform enables communications but does not promise delivery, reading, response, retention or fitness for a legal notice. A message may be delayed, filtered or unavailable. Confirm appointments, deadlines and important contractual communications directly and use legally required methods for formal notices. Nothing in these Terms restricts a statutory cancellation or makes notice to Twohands the legally required notice to a Pro.
We may send electronic account, security, policy and service notices to the contact details associated with your account. Marketing choices are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy; accepting these Terms does not authorize automated promotional calls or texts. You may request a copy of these Terms through support@usetwohands.com.
Links and third-party services are provided for convenience and are subject to the third party's own terms. Twohands does not control outside sites, payment services, contracts or communications. A link alone is not an endorsement. Users remain responsible for decisions made outside the Platform, subject to applicable law.
11 Reports moderation and project disputes
You may report suspected fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, false credentials, infringement or other policy violations through the Report option on a profile, project or conversation, or by email to support@usetwohands.com. We may request relevant information, review Platform activity, restrict an account or remove content consistent with these Terms, our policies and applicable law. We do not promise continuous monitoring, detection of every violation, a particular response time or a particular outcome.
Twohands' review concerns access to and conduct on the Platform. It does not constitute a site inspection, licensing determination, insurance-coverage decision, legal representation, binding adjudication, payment collection or undertaking to resolve a project dispute. We do not undertake to administer or enforce service contracts. Homeowners and Pros should address contractual disputes directly and may contact their insurer, licensing authority, consumer-protection agency, counsel or court as appropriate.
Nothing restricts honest reviews, lawful complaints to authorities, cooperation with investigations or access to legal remedies. The Platform and support channel are not emergency services. Contact emergency services for immediate danger.
12 Suspension termination and service changes
We may restrict, suspend or close an account, remove a listing or content, or limit a feature when reasonably necessary to address a policy violation, unlawful conduct, security threat, suspected fraud, harm to Users, or a legal obligation. We may act immediately where notice would increase risk or is prohibited. Where reasonably practicable and lawful, we will provide notice and a way to request review at support@usetwohands.com. Review does not guarantee restoration.
We may modify or discontinue free features or the Platform, subject to applicable law and any separate commitments we have made. A beta label does not excuse required legal duties. You may stop using the Platform and request account closure through Account settings (Delete account) or by email to support@usetwohands.com. Closure does not cancel a direct service agreement, erase outstanding obligations between Users, or override lawful data-retention requirements. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion practices.
13 Disclaimers of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. TWOHANDS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL CODE, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
TWOHANDS DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE PRO SERVICES, USER CONDUCT, LICENSE OR INSURANCE STATUS, REVIEW AUTHENTICITY, PROJECT RESULTS, PAYMENT BY A HOMEOWNER OR PERFORMANCE BY A PRO. INFORMATIONAL GUIDANCE FROM TWOHANDS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL LEGAL, CONSTRUCTION OR INSURANCE ADVICE AND DOES NOT CREATE A PROJECT GUARANTEE.
These disclaimers apply only where lawful. They do not negate an express commitment Twohands actually makes, excuse its own fraudulent or unlawful representations, eliminate mandatory security duties, or limit a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
14 Claims concerning other Users
To the extent permitted by law, you release Twohands and its current and former directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents and authorized service providers acting in that capacity (the Twohands Parties) from claims arising solely from another User's acts or omissions in connection with Pro Services, including service disputes, workmanship, nonpayment and that User's credential representations, where no act or omission of a Twohands Party gives rise to an independent legal basis for liability.
This release does not release the Homeowner or Pro from their own obligations, prevent reporting misconduct, or waive claims based on Twohands' own actionable conduct. It does not cover fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or consumer right that applicable law does not permit you to release. It is not a release of unknown independent claims against Twohands or an agreement to indemnify another User.
15 Limits on Twohands liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TWOHANDS PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT INCLUDING ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE, OR ANOTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.
SUBJECT TO THE EXCEPTIONS BELOW, THE TWOHANDS PARTIES' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US $100 OR THE PLATFORM FEES YOU PAID TO TWOHANDS DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT FIRST GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. PAYMENTS TO PROS ARE NOT PLATFORM FEES. THE CAP IS AGGREGATE AND DOES NOT MULTIPLY BY THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS OR TWOHANDS PARTIES.
Neither this section nor any other disclaimer, release or remedy restriction excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability, damages, statutory remedy or other right that applicable law prohibits excluding or limiting. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful for the claim and person concerned. We do not require you to waive nonwaivable consumer, privacy or data-security rights. These provisions allocate risk concerning a free discovery and communication service and do not promise that a court will enforce a particular limitation.
16 Pro indemnification for third party claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, a Pro agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Twohands Parties against third-party claims, liabilities, judgments, settlements and reasonable defense costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, but only to the extent caused by that Pro's or their personnel's negligent or unlawful conduct, material misrepresentations, infringement of another person's rights, or material breach of these Terms in operating their business or providing Pro Services.
This obligation excludes the portion of any loss caused by a Twohands Party's negligence, fraud, intentional misconduct or breach of its own legal duties. It does not require indemnification prohibited by New York General Obligations Law section 5-322.1 or other applicable law. It does not shift Twohands' independent statutory compliance obligations to a Pro. A Pro owes no indemnity merely because an unsupported allegation names them or because a claim arises from a lawful negative review.
Twohands will give reasonably prompt notice of a claim and reasonable cooperation, at the Pro's expense for covered matters. Delay in notice reduces the obligation only to the extent it materially prejudices the Pro. Defense arrangements must comply with applicable law and any relevant insurer's rights. Twohands may participate with its own counsel at its own expense, except where a conflict requires separate counsel and those costs are lawfully covered. No settlement may admit fault by, impose nonmonetary obligations on, or fail to fully release a Twohands Party without that party's prior written consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld. A determination of responsibility, or a settlement approved by the affected parties, governs allocation of covered costs.
17 Governing law and disputes with Twohands
New York law governs these Terms, without its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable federal law or nonwaivable protections require otherwise. Except for the exceptions in this section, a dispute between you and Twohands concerning the Platform or these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in New York County, New York, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York where federal jurisdiction exists. You and Twohands consent to those courts, except where applicable law gives you a nonwaivable right to a different forum. Either party may bring an eligible claim in a small-claims court with jurisdiction.
You may contact support@usetwohands.com to seek an informal resolution. Informal discussion is voluntary and does not prevent filing, shorten a limitations period or require you to wait before pursuing an available remedy. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive a jury or class proceeding, or govern the forum for a homeowner-Pro service dispute. Those disputes remain subject to the Users' separate agreement and applicable law.
18 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and incorporated policies. We will identify the effective date and provide notice of material changes through an account notice, email or another reasonably conspicuous method. Where a change materially alters contractual rights or applicable law requires assent, we will obtain affirmative acceptance before applying it to your continued account use. You may decline and stop using the affected account features.
Changes do not retroactively waive accrued claims or alter an existing direct service agreement between Users. Earlier transactions and events remain governed by the applicable accepted version unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise. A posting alone does not authorize imposing a material new obligation without required notice and assent.
19 General provisions
These Terms and the two expressly incorporated policies constitute the agreement concerning Platform use, except for any separate written agreement signed by an authorized Twohands representative. If they conflict, these Terms control unless a policy expressly states an authorized specific exception; applicable law controls in all cases. The Privacy Policy governs descriptions of personal-information practices and is not expanded by the content license. The Hiring and Safety Guide does not amend these Terms.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be severed or limited only to the extent lawful and necessary, and the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent except where law requires otherwise. Twohands may transfer it in a merger, reorganization or sale of the relevant business, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy, without reducing your nonwaivable rights.
The Twohands Parties are intended third-party beneficiaries of the protections expressly provided to them in sections 14 through 16. Other Users are not third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and no provision authorizes Twohands to waive their independent obligations. Pro duties, content permissions to the extent described, accrued obligations, disclaimers, lawful releases, liability limits, indemnification and dispute provisions survive closure as applicable. Nothing here requires personal guarantees by Twohands' founders, shareholders or personnel or immunizes an individual from liability imposed by law for that individual's own conduct.

Schedule A Acceptable Use and Reviews Policy
The following policy is incorporated into these Terms of Use and applies to all Users.
A1 Application
This policy applies to all Users, profiles, project posts, messages, images, attachments and reviews on Twohands. It is incorporated into the Terms of Use. It protects the ability of Homeowners and Pros to discover and communicate without fraud, abuse or misleading information. It does not make Twohands a guarantor of any User's conduct.
A2 Prohibited behavior
Do not use the Platform to commit fraud, impersonate another person or business, misrepresent credentials, seek unlawful work, or facilitate illegal activity. Do not request or offer services you lack legal authority to perform. Do not falsely imply that Twohands insures, employs, licenses or endorses you or guarantees a transaction.
Do not threaten, stalk, sexually harass, intimidate or abuse another person; encourage violence; disclose private information without authorization; or unlawfully discriminate. Do not post exploitative sexual content, child sexual abuse material or content advocating harm. Do not use repeated unwanted contact or a new account to evade another person's refusal or a Platform restriction.
Do not publish content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. Do not steal portfolio images, present renderings as completed work, post knowingly false factual accusations, or submit misleading information about a project or business. Good-faith criticism and truthful descriptions of experience are permitted, including negative reviews.
Do not send spam, sell or scrape leads, harvest personal information, upload malware, interfere with security, evade rate limits, or use deceptive links or attachments. Do not use information from a project or message for unrelated marketing without separate lawful authorization. Do not solicit payment credentials, passwords or unnecessary sensitive identification information through public posts.
A3 Review eligibility and truthful descriptions
Submit a review only about your own genuine firsthand experience with the identified business. State whether the experience concerned an inquiry, communication, site visit or completed service. Do not imply that work was hired, performed, paid for or completed when your experience was limited to an inquiry. A review can describe a genuine negative experience without a completed job.
Describe facts accurately and distinguish them from opinion. Do not fabricate events, exaggerate your role, post about the wrong business, submit duplicates to distort ratings, or use AI to invent an experience. Editing assistance is permitted only if the resulting submission accurately reflects your own experience. Do not post as a client of your own business or a competitor, or coordinate sham reviews.
Disclose a material connection such as employment, family relationship, ownership, referral compensation, free services or another incentive. A disclosure does not make a prohibited or false review acceptable. Twohands may decline a review where a conflict undermines its reliability, applying the same standards to positive and negative submissions.
Twohands does not allow reviews obtained in exchange for money, discounts, gifts or free services, whether favorable or unfavorable. Pros may invite actual clients to provide honest, uncompensated feedback without selecting only clients expected to be positive. Do not condition service, a refund or another benefit on leaving, changing or removing a review.
A4 Review display and moderation
Reviews express their authors' experiences and opinions. Twohands does not guarantee each review's truth or certify that a service was performed. Unless a specific and accurate label says otherwise, appearing on the Platform does not mean a review concerns a Twohands-booked or Twohands-paid project; this launch does not provide booking or payment verification.
Twohands does not currently display star ratings, numeric scores or imported reviews, and does not verify that any work was hired, performed or paid for. The only client feedback shown on profiles is client references: a Pro invites a past client by email or private link, and the client writes the reference. References are labeled as provided by the client and not verified by Twohands, are shown newest first, and are not averaged or scored. We may review a reference after it is submitted or reported and remove it under this policy.
We may remove or restrict content for a policy violation, a legal requirement, or a reasonable determination that it is fake, misleading, infringing or otherwise unlawful. We do not remove a review simply because it is negative, a Pro disputes it, or an author refuses to soften criticism. We apply the same standards to positive and negative reviews, do not rewrite a review's substantive message, and do not sell removal or favorable treatment.
We may request proportionate evidence of the experience or relationship, with unnecessary personal information redacted. Do not post contracts, addresses, telephone numbers, signatures or sensitive documents publicly to prove a point. A Homeowner's lawful review is not prohibited merely because it criticizes a Pro or Twohands. Neither these policies nor the Terms impose a penalty for an honest review or transfer its copyright ownership to Twohands.
A5 Reports responses and requests for review
Report a suspected violation through the Report option on a profile, project or conversation, or by email to support@usetwohands.com. Identify the content or account, explain the concern, and provide only information reasonably necessary to assess it. Do not abuse reporting tools to silence criticism or damage a competitor. Pros may respond to reviews professionally, without publishing private client information or retaliating against the reviewer.
We may request information from affected Users and take action under the Terms, including removing content or restricting accounts. Where lawful and reasonably practicable, an affected User may request review of a moderation decision at support@usetwohands.com. A report or request does not guarantee removal, restoration, a response deadline or a particular result. No policy promise requires continuous monitoring or investigation of every interaction, and no disclaimer excuses duties imposed by law.
Reporting to Twohands is optional and does not prevent a report to law enforcement, regulators, licensing bodies or insurers, or the exercise of legal rights. Our review concerns Platform conduct; it does not adjudicate a service dispute or guarantee recovery. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
A6 Copyright notices and counter notices
Twohands respects intellectual-property rights and will respond to appropriate copyright notices and counter-notices under applicable law. Send a notice to our designated copyright agent: Copyright Agent, Use Two Hands, Inc., 169 Madison Ave Ste 57572, New York, NY 10016, copyright@usetwohands.com.
A notice should include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work or a representative list where appropriate; identification and sufficient location information for the allegedly infringing material; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or law; and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
If your material is removed for copyright infringement and you believe removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with your signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury of that belief; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the United States a district where Twohands may be found, and accepting service from the claimant or its agent. We may forward the counter-notice and its contact information to the claimant as required for this process.
Where applicable, material may be restored after the statutory period, generally 10 to 14 business days following receipt of a valid counter-notice, unless our agent first receives notice that the claimant has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the activity. Material may remain restricted for a separate lawful policy reason. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and accommodate applicable standard technical measures. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice can create legal liability.
